What this is

Moonwalk Archive is a labour of love: an independent digital museum devoted to the music, films, dance and cultural impact of Michael Jackson. We gather the albums, songs, short films, performances and milestones of one of the most influential entertainers in history, and we tell the stories behind them with original writing and careful research.

Think of it as part magazine, part encyclopedia, part exhibition — a single, beautiful place to explore a body of work that changed popular culture.

What this is not

This is not an official site, and we never pretend to be one. We do not host or sell music, we do not reproduce song lyrics or copyrighted articles, and we do not claim any special access or authority. Where we state facts, we aim to be accurate and to be honest about uncertainty. Where information is disputed or estimated, we say so.

How we work

Our editorial content is written to be genuinely useful — not to chase clicks. We favour depth over volume, and we would rather publish one well-researched story than a hundred thin ones. You can read more in our Editorial Policy.

Keeping a project like this online costs money.
